CTS-CS-CAX-04

The CTS-CS-CAX-04 is an analog open-loop current sensor module designed for non-intrusive and isolated measurement of electric currents. Thanks to the clamp-on design, the contactless current sensor can be safely installed without interrupting the cable.

4[mm] Clamp-On Current Sensor Module

The module features a PCB with a Melexis IMC-Hall® planar current sensor, a  CTS-CS-CAX-04 Clamp-On shield, and all necessary components for easy installation and operation.

With a 5V DC supply, the module delivers a linear analog output ranging from 500 mV to 4500 mV, corresponding to the primary input current. The CTS-CS-CAX-04 model ensures excellent linearity with an error margin of less than 0.5% FS. The integrated Melexis IMC-Hall® sensor provides a low offset of ±5 mV and a sensitivity drift of just 1% across the full temperature range.

This module is ideal for a variety of applications, including DC and AC current sensing up to 30 kHz, motor control, battery monitoring, charge control, white goods, and more.
