Logo of the 53rd UIA symposiumOn April 28, 2025, CTS will head to Halifax, Canada, to attend the 53rd annual Ultrasonic Industry Association (UIA) Symposium.

With a strong emphasis on the industrial applications of ultrasound, the UIA symposium brings together innovators and experts from all around the globe for a three day gathering with a tightly packed program of workshops, presentations and discussions. CTS is proud to sponsor this great event and will send a delegation of both R&D scientists and sales representatives to attend.

Attendees can find the CTS stand in the symposium exhibition area where our representatives will introduce our ultrasound-generating piezoelectric solutions. These include PZT and lead-free piezoceramics, PMN-PT and PIN-PMN-PT single crystals, tap-cast multilayer solutions, printed piezo and more.

On the first day of the event, our R&D director, Rasmus Lou-Møller, will discuss the recent developments in regard to the 'Restriction of Hazardous Substances' (RoHS) directive of the European Union. The presentation will commence at 2 PM local time, and more information on its contents will soon be available on the CTS website.
